Must be under 40 years old for Masters applicants and under 45 years old for PhD applicants at time of application. Masters requires minimum CGPA 3.0/4.0 or Second Class Upper (Honours) at Bachelor level. PhD requires minimum CGPA 3.0/4.0 or excellent Master level results in a related field. University admission is NOT required before applying for MIS - apply for the scholarship first, then secure university admission within the set timeframe if selected (this saves you the university application fee if not selected). Research proposal (minimum 1,000 words) required for Masters by Research and PhD applicants only.
Full tuition fees paid directly to university, monthly living allowance. Note: unlike many other scholarships, MIS does NOT cover travel expenses - successful applicants must independently arrange and fund their own travel to Malaysia.
