IMPORTANT DISTINCT REQUIREMENTS: Unlike most scholarships, Australia Awards requires minimum 5 years of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships/volunteer work) and applicants must be no older than 45 years at time of application. Best suited for mid-career professionals, not recent graduates. Requires completed 16 years of education (Bachelor degree minimum). Must submit a Development Impact and Linkages Plan (DILP) explaining how the qualification will be used to benefit Pakistan. Commitment to return to Pakistan for minimum 2 years after completion required.
Full tuition fees, return economy airfare to and from Australia, one-off establishment allowance upon arrival, contribution to living expenses, Introductory Academic Program (IAP) for cultural and academic transition support.
